Hey everyone', Check-out www.bodylighting.com ,..they carry 5-inch fiber-optic flashlights that fit perfectly in the Lion-Head eye-socket areas! For $7.77 you can get a three-pack with batteries included! They have a push-button on/off switch that changes a steady-color of either Red,Blue,Green,some mixed-colors,then the last click of the switch gives a 'blinking' sequence of all the colors! I put a piece of duck-tape around the optic-fibers to hold them in-place pushed them into the eye-socket opening, then wired the body of the flashlight to the bamboo frame. It is super-easy and the effect is Great! They are bright enough that you don't have to have the lights off either',...the glass eyes actually reflect it brighter than just the flashlight itself! Make sure you order the 8-color fiber-optic flashlights,..that way you can change the eye-color for different events,..ie; Red for Chinese New Year & Weddings,...we are doing a 'school Prom',..so, I'm going to have the Lion's eyes Blue for their school colors,..etc.' Plus, it makes a Great entrance for 'door-cleaning' or as the Lion is 'waking-up'!
