GM Garrett Gee HFY workshop in March in San Francisco
The World Hung Fa Yi Wing Chun Kung Fu Association will be holding its annual public seminar, instructor's training, and international instructor's program training. The main topic for the both the public seminar and the instructor's training will be the Hung Fa Yi Wing Chun Chi Sao system training platform. Within the training platform, the Hung Fa Yi Wing Chun Chi Sao progression is divided into three segments. They are Kiu Sao Chi Sao, Chi Kiu Chi Sao, and the Gee Ng Kiu Chi Sao. For those who had attended previous workshops, the progressions of Kiu Sao Chi Sao and the Chi Kiu Chi Sao have been expressed by Grandmaster Garrett Gee. This workshop will be concentrated on the Gee Ng Kiu Chi Sao progression.
With Hung Fa Yi Wing Chun's history dating back over 300 years, the Hung Fa Yi Wing Chun system training platforms are unique in its own. Hung Gun Bil, our ancestor from the Boxer Rebellion society during the Red Boat period in history, passed down the Hung Fa Yi Wing Chun system as we know it today. Hung Gun Bil left behind a rich and unique training platform for the system, as we will experience in the Hung Fa Yi Wing Chun Chi Sao system training progression.

P.S. The World Hung Fa Yi Wing Chun Kung Fu Association will be conducting a public workshop in Brazil between the months of August and September. Grandmaster Garrett Gee will be conducting the workshop to the student members and to the public. For the moment, there are no certified HFY instructors in Brazil. Along with the workshop, GM Gee will personally interview any potential candidates for the International Instructor's program. For those interested participants in Brazil who wish to join the World Hung Fa Yi Wing Chun Kung Fu Association International Instructor's program can submit an application to me personally (Allen Kong - Hung Fa Kwoon Director - hungfayi@aol.com). The details of the program, taught personally by GM Gee, will be explained in detail.
