This event will be happening about 3mile from me: http://www.chinwoo.com/2007tcl/workshops.htm
Scroll down the page for pic.

And it seems ole Gene will be there. Me thinks I test out his Iron Crotch training? Anything else you guys want me to "convey" to him. :D

you do know that if you meet gene at taiji legacy you have to bring him nachos. its actually in the fine print under the tournament rules. if you dont it is punishable by death. the method of said execution is they tie a rope around your top half and a rope around your bottom half and gm tu attaches one end to his iron crotch and gene attaches the other to his. and they pull in opposite directions. so the last thing you see before being ripped in half are a couple of iron crotches. its not worth it. just carry nachos all day just in case.

Well this is TX, as a resident, they issue us TexMex food and guns. I'll just let him have my rations for the day. :D

Nah, I think I met him a long time ago at a rock concert. He did seem to be a really nice guy, though.

i think 200 is too many but.

3. avoid wearing anything that may look like a target (such as a crotch. ) if you can meet him and have no crotch you are ok. (but that would mean you have front butt and thats just odd. )

4. make sure and tape your "mini me" to your stomach. you never know when Gene has his pair of Crotche(tm) shoes on. best to be prepared

It's a little early for our Taiji Legacy thread (http://ezine.kungfumagazine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=41744), but yes, I will be there again this year. Looking forward to it, as always. Nacho contributions are always accepted (along with beer, of course). No crotch kicks, please.

xcakid, do you want to be our next hobo (http://ezine.kungfumagazine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=41273)?

Gene told me at last year's Taiji Legacy that he would be coming to 2007 incognito. Be on the lookout for this disguise:

But if I was built like the bondage Darth, that wouldn't be so bad. Sanrio Darth was seriously messed up. He/she must be a publisher too....

Am I going to have hecklers at my seminar (http://www.chinwoo.com/2007tcl/workshops.htm#geneching) this year?

I will definitely come up and say howdy.

Oh and as far as the Hobo thing, sure. I still have my old USSD Gi somewhere in a box I think. Wonder if Mattera will sue after the pic is published.

I don't envy anyone who is about to get kicked in the crotch

We'd have to digitally blur any logos. That just wouldn't be fair. But bring the old gi. You'd have to get your own sign too, but that should be easy enough. Shaolinlueb and I managed to find some cardboard and a uniform when we did it last year.

Note that being a hobo is open to any forum member. We used to do group shots for forum members at tournaments, but that got out of hand. Now it's limited to hobos.

How bout an upside down USSD patch with circle and an / through it. :D Just kidding.

Lemme see.....card board saying:

Out of work Kung Fu Master. Will sign and issue Black Belt Cert for beer (Master ranking for imported beer)

Will teach Iron Crotch Kung Fu, I'll make you holla for a dolla!!!

I'll keep working on it. I have 3mos.

This year should be my first at TJL. Would I have time to compete in San Shou and do some seminars?

My first yr too. I am probably just gonna do traditional forms. Far too out of shape to do anything else.

San Shou is on Sunday morning. So, take the Friday/Saturday seminars and you will be fine.
