i bought one of these to improve my grip for BJJ and i have to tell you this thing is cool. its used for arthritis and carpal tunnel and stuff but it also strengthens the wrist, hands, fingers and forearms. so it helps with grips. basically its a gyro (not a greek dish) and it spins inside a plastic case at up to 13,000 rpm. your hand and arm have to work against the centripital force and you can control how fast it spins by shaking it. its like 20 bucks at sports authority but if you go to http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/electronic/6a4b/ you can get the ones that light up when the gyro starts spinning. they are cool. anyway if any of you use one let me know what you think.
