I read your article in the ezine about rza's trip to wudang it was great. I was wondering something though. You said he saw a "w" there. Was it a natural rock formation, something someone inscribed or what? The article was great I find Shi Yan Ming's relationship with the wutang clan very interesting (it is partially what inspired me to keep training seeing as I am from the "hip Hop" generation". I'd just like to know more about the "w". Thanks

It was a natural rock formation, made from a ridge of peaks called 9 dragon peaks. Originally, we ran a pic of it in the gallery, but since we are reconstructing that part of the site, it might not be available. It was very trippy, but ironically, RZA was unaffected. It was almost like he expected it.
RZA is like the generation gap of CMA. If you're too old, you don't get RZA's connection to CMA, but if you young (or young at heart) you know how influential he is.
Thanks for your kind words. I get a lot of flak for my RZA pieces from people who can't hang w/hip hop.
