I noticed in your writers guidlines that it says articles on famous masters. What exactly makes a master famous? I think just to shake things up you guys should have an issue full of the little guys, there are lots of Sifu out there that aren't as well known but have great stories and styles to tell. Although you would have to find a way to keep the articles from becoming ads.

Being in a magazine, I suppose. ;)
I appreciate your idea, and we have done s few pieces on "little guys" but frankly, the only people who are intersted are those little guys and there students. It's like covering the 2nd place winners. The only people who want to hear about 2nd place are the 2nd palce winners and their moms. Beleive me, I have a closet full of 2nd place medals...
