Did a little Googling:

http://www.realisticwingchun.com/wing_chun_history.htm

Seems he trained with sifu Samuel Kwok.

Always a red flag when someone doesn't say who they trained with or for how long.

He also says he is skilled in ground fighting....I wonder where he trained?

funny a few years back i met (at a party of all places) a student of his who was on a fast-track instuctor course. that was the first time i ever met a wing chunner from a different sub-style to mine and i came away pretty happy :) how times change ;)

of course ^^^ doesnt mean anything about the sifu or whatever, could be great, could be rubbish, i dont know and dont care to speculate :)

Pfft, boring question. Ask who is #1 instead.

Why settle for 2nd best?

By using your logic, his SiGung (Ip Chun) would be #0.

"Where am I?"
"In the village."
"What do you want?"
"Information."
"Whose side are you on?"
"That would be telling. We want information. Information! INFORMATION!"
"You won't get it."
"By hook or by crook, we will."
"Who are you?"
"The new number two."
"Who is number one?"
"You are number six."
"I am not a number. I am a free man!"

Hi guys,

I have not met the teacher, but generally saying you are second best is a clever way of saying that you are good but humble enough to know you can't be the best especially since you should have teachers and cannot have crossed hands with th ewhole world...

btw, I have heard good things about the teacher.

imho, Don't confuse commercial bollicks with the heart of a person.

Still, It's a pretty lofty claim, to believe out of the millions of MA'ists in the world there's only one better than you. :(

Anyone making claims like this instantly loses my respect for the simple fact that it is inappropriate hyperbole.
