Just curious, I thought I once saw a video of Sifu Chan yong fa doing a double hand sword, but couldnt for the life of me find any reference to that again.

Is there a double hand sword (shuang sao dao / seung so do) form in CLF?
If someone know which video I saw that on, please can u post a link.

I might be way off tho, appologies if thats the case

HERE IS A LINK TO THE FUT SAN DOUBLE HANDED SWORD FORMS.

CLF ISN'T JUST CHAN FAMILY, HUNG SING HAS THEIR OWN DOUBLE HANDED SWORD.

THIS IS A GROUP PERFORMANCE FROM THE FUT SAN HUNG SING KWOON.

Ben,

Is It Similar To The Fut San One, If Not, How Much Does It Differ And How?

Idk.......

I Assume So, Since The Fut San Hsk Has Always Hosted "kill The Enemy" Or Even "kill The Japanese" Sword Brigades.

Its Nice To Know That The Sword Techniques Have Actually Been Tested In War.

It's similar but different. There are more techniques in the Jiangmen form, with much less repetition, and the Jiangmen form is a bit more mobile, but then they generally are. There are some techniques in the Futsan form that aren't in the Jiangmen form though, like that cool side block.

yeah i liked the side block too.

but that may be a performance version of that as well.

i also agree about the more mobile idea.......i've noticed that chan family seems to used hella strikes within a set and is all over the place.....while fut san hsk including lau bun lineage is less attention to the barrage and more focus on "one hitter quiter" types moves. not sure y these differences are there, but they are.
