Had a dragon form many moons ago but forgot it. So wanted to see if there is a good one out there to learn from VCD or DVD. Something to play around with.

In the mid to late 90's ESPY did a couple VHS tapes on southern styles which had a few dragon forms on them one even by Sifu Yip Wing Hong in NYC. I don't have any links, but I remember seeing it.

I have the one from the plumpub "animal" section, and didn't think it was that good. The firedragon guy is pretty good, the for uses a lot of the pheonix eye fist with lots of quick strikes and deflections. The Shaolin 13 claws guy is very skilled, though I haven't seen that particular form.

Sigh........
Don't laugh too hard, this is me doing half the 13 grabs form a few years ago. It's pretty poorly done, but just imagine it done fast, snappy, and smooth, with the proper spirit of a dragon swimming in the clouds. I know the VCD is really good though.

Hi Xcakid,
Do you mean dragon as in dragon style (lung ying) kung fu, or just the "dragon" animal expression forms of any kung fu style?

Cheers,
TG

That pretty much explains it. I find dragon forms more fluid than any other forms out there. I have always liked practicing it.
