He can also ring a bell with his voice (which can probably be explained with physics).

Vid (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7FZjHAijc0k&mode=related&search=).

I've heard about masters who could supposedly kill small animals with their kiais. This guy can disable human attackers. That's bad ass!

I would like to add that there is some truth on what this man said.

There is absolutly a disruption in the natural rythms when a force such as sound is channeled and focused. Obviously not the extent that this vid claims but in every exaggeration there is some truth...............

I would just like to ask anybody: How would you handle a fight situation where you're moving in on your opponent and he just waves his hand at you and you're knocked back 10 feet?

Me personally...I'm gettting up and running!:D

I had seen that vid before but I didn't know it was the same guy.

I still feel bad for that old guy... he got hit in the face a lot.

I wonder how you condition your own students to fall over when you kiai at them?

I wonder what his students thought after they saw their teacher get easily beaten.

Don't feel bad for him, from what I understand he ran a giant scam and had the nerve to talk a lot of crap. I understand he even ridiculed that kid before the match

Martial arts are a lot like religion, people believe and have faith

All of this doesn't make sense. If the guy was running a scam and was a faker he would have never taken that challenge to begin with.

I actually believe the old man thought he could do that. I would have love to have been in his class the week after that happened.

In this video, the name is "Yanagiryuken."
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oMgVmFzBrus
While in this one, it's "Sasaki."

I had the same question - they look similar (bald with a goatee), but not exactly alike (also the quality of the vids are different), but the one guy was shouting people out, the other guy was doing it by waving his hands around

I mean, if it's two different guys, I'm sure that by just one of them getting his head handed to him will be enough to shut them all up for a while at least

when is someone going to do this to Dillman, BTW?

mm i think the sasaki guy might have some basis in reality but alot of it will be exaggerated

he did in fact ring a bell with his voice s opposed to the other guy waving his hands about

i mean if kiai didnt work then why would most martial arts use it ?

still neither would stand a chance against the mma guy

That's what I was thinking, too.

Yup. I wonder if he deluded himself into believing it.
