Jun Fan was supposed to be Bruce's "art".

He got rid of it because he saw it was turning into a "classical mess".

Then came Jeet Kune Do (concepts) which was this whole "new" (but not new) way of looking at a fight. And how to fill your gaps, crosstrain, abosrb what is usefel, reject was is useless, etc etc.

Jeet Kune Do was the approach and philosophy towards training and learning martial arts that Bruce Lee used, whereas Jun Fan was the actual techniques that he taught (his own personal style). Basically, when you see instructors such as Ted Wong who practice according to Bruce's original techniques, that is Jun Fan (or Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do). When you see guys such Burton Richardson or Paul Vunak who train and teach according to Bruce's philosophy (but do not use a whole lot of Jun Fan), that is Jeet Kune Do (or Jeet Kune Do Concepts if you want to be politically correct).

There is only one martial art.

You can have a lot of Jun Fan Gung fu influence and still be Jeet Kune Do Concepts, though. What I didn't explain well enough the first time was that there are two main "sects" of JKD: Jun Fan JKD and JKD Concepts. The concepts group are the freestyle/MMA type JKD guys (that be me). The JFJKD guys are the ones who practice primarily according to Bruce's Jun Fan style.

There is only one martial art.

Other then Ted Wong, is there alot of people who still teach Jun Fan JKD? Or is it just being phased out over time?

Can you recommand any links on Jun Fan or does Ted Wong have a site?

Many of the original students or first generation students of Bruce Lee teach and train in Jun Fan JKD. Many of Dan Inosanto's students or second and third generation guys like Paul Vunak, Burton Richardson, Matt Thorton, etc are Concept guys under Dan Inosanto.-ED
