I found it inspiring-some of my favorite clips of Bruce Lee-especially the opening scene in the temple from Enter the Dragon.
That scene inspired everybody and their uncle to go out and buy those gloves.
(btw-does anyone know the origin of them? Where he found them, where they came from? Now we call them kenpo gloves, or jkd gloves)

I wonder why I have not heard people that say Bruce Lee started MMA try to use those speedos as evidence. :p

I believe Lee designed those gloves (I remember having a pair myself), as well as sparring safety and training equipment.
