We are happy to announce that we have finalized plans for our Fall Tai Chi Retreat. The Retreat will be on September 14th and 15th, at The National Ability Center in Park City, UT. The fee for the Retreat is $250 per person. Our family rate is $200/adult and $100/child. The fee includes a double occupancy room, four meals, and intensive instruction with Master Lu. We only have 25 rooms available, so call 801-487-3220 now to sign up!

Lessons cover the movements of the Classical Yang Long Form that we perform in class, as well as the philosophy behind Tai Chi, and the history of our form in particular. Additional topics include basics and warm ups from class, intro to Tai Chi Sword, Qi Gong, Ba Gua, and Xing Yi. In addition, the retreat is NCCAOM approved for 10 CEU's for Acupuncturists.

Master Cheng Tsang Lu has been teaching the Chinese martial arts for over 30 years, has trained hundreds of students, and was the first acupuncturist licensed in the State of Utah. Master Lu was born and received his training in Taiwan, where he was twice National Kung Fu champion. During his study as apprentice to Grand Master Chian Ho Yin, he learned the ancient Chinese arts of Acupuncture, Tai Chi and Kung Fu. After a successful career teaching Tai Chi and Kung Fu in Taiwan, Master Lu immigrated to the United States in 1974. He was the first acupuncturist licensed in the State of Utah in 1983, and has taught extensive classes at locations throughout the Salt Lake area, including the University of Utah, and at his own studio.
