I saw no boxing in that vid. No hapkido, unless the guy in the gi bouncing around and then backpedalling was it.

People less diplomatic than I would say there was no Wing Chun either. There was no fighting, that's for sure.

I always thought the 70's were the ultimate decade for fashion crime, but now I'd say the 80's gave it a run for the money.

I have read some very good articles by Mr.Heimberger, but I have to say that Demo, should be rated in the top 50 worst WCK demonstrations of all time.

Im preparing a demo, showcasing YKS WCK against the living dead, which were actually just brought back from easter island. It seems Hypersapians (AKA zombies) have Un-lived there for quite some time, flying below the raider.
Im going to prove once and for all the superiority of WCK, by putting those undead- wankers, in their place.

He didn't land a thing on that Hapkido guy. The guy was backing up too fast.
Is this meant to be the highlight of the fight?

It looks as if, I have a long way to go before I achieve this level of Wing Chun mastery.

I have not seen such a display of Martial Skill since Damon Waynes got his butt whipped in "Blankman" The only thing missing was the soundtrack of the little girl screams!

This guy makes everyone under Ip Ching's lineage look bad. I can attest that Ip Ching's lineage is much better than this. This guy Heimberger seems to march to the beat of his own drum, he is just doing it in Ip Ching's name, which makes everyone look bad.

Do you mean the chick with the very short hair and the black shirt with no sleevs.... that was Ron Heimberger!

Watched the vid, what a freakn' joke Heimberger is. What the hell kind of punches were the students practicing? I had a friend/training partner go over to a class once and he told me it was a joke. I've met the guy, did not see any wing chun that day, but my impression was he was no big deal, then I heard alot of stories about him from former students, that I could not belief he did, regardless of being a Master, Sifu, human being.

That is very fast punching and kicking... the only problem is that is a "parlor trick" for demonstrations. People get caught up in the speed thing, not realizing the key to making the punching and kicking so fast is how fast it is retracted.

Watch anybody who does that kind of striking hit with any kind of power and you will see the strikes slow significantly.

Tommy puts on some nice demos, never seen him actually fight or hit something with power though, except for a focus mitt with a back a backswing hammer fist.

Take demos with a grain of salt, they look good but that doesn't mean much.

Speed, as they say, is relative.

I definitely agree with both of you on this one. I came across this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ev-vp_EQKS4) where someone seems to want to emphasize speed, and it left me answering the rhetorical question "what's wrong with this picture?" The answer seems to be - too many things to count.
So much for chain punches. ;)
And please, if you're going to make a video, leave your shirt on.

LOL.
Now we KNOW it was a troll post.

Poor Tyler Nato. He went to the trouble of putting a 20 yo video on YouTube so he could troll the forums and pretend he was a student! How dare the original copyright owners shut his clip down!

Everyone got a good laugh out of it though.
