Do you guys have any special stance training routien.

Fists chambered. Horse stance, retract left leg to cat stance, step out to bow, step forward to cross. Forward to horse again and repeat the other way.

You can increase the pause on each stance to increase endurance.

Moving Footstep Method (duhng bouh faat)

Going-Out (cheut)

1.Horse Footstep to Bow Footstep: Standing in Side-By-Side Footstep (bihng bouh), hands or fists on the waist, one leg steps back forming horse footstep. A) The rear leg shift inward forming a bow footstep. B) Rear leg lift up knee, and moves forward forming single-standing footstep, then steps forward, and heel touching the ground then forming horse footstep.

2.Horse Footstep to Twisting Footstep: Standing in side-by-side footstep, hands or fists on the waist, one leg steps back forming horse footstep. A) Lead leg twist into twisting footstep. B) Rear leg moves forward by placing the heel on the ground, which forms a Seven-Star Footstep (chat sing bouh), then shifting into horse footstep.

3.Horse Footstep, Bow Footstep, Empty Footstep, Twisting Footstep, Single-Standing Footstep: Standing in side-by-side footstep, hands or fists on the waist, one leg steps back forming horse footstep. A) The rear leg shift inward forming a bow footstep. B) Lead leg shift back forming an empty footstep. C) Lead leg twist into twisting footstep. D) Rear leg lift up knee, and moves forward forming single- standing footstep, then steps forward, and heel touching the ground then forming horse footstep.

Go-In (Jyun)

1.Horse Footstep to Empty Footstep: Standing in side-by-side footstep, hands or fists on the waist, one leg steps back forming horse footstep. A) Lead leg shift back forming an empty footstep. B) Lead steps back, while crossing rear leg, and toe touching the ground, forming Inserting Footstep (chaap bouh), then shifting into horse footstep.

2.Horse Footstep to Single-Standing Footstep: Standing in side-by-side footstep, hands or fists on the waist, one leg steps back forming horse footstep. A) Lead leg, lifts up knee forming single-standing footstep, then steps backward, toe touching the ground, forming horse footstep.

3.Twisting Footstep, Single-Standing Footstep, Empty Footstep, Bow Footstep, Horse Footstep: Standing in Side-by-side footstep, hands or fists on the waist, one-leg steps forward forming seven-star footsteps, then twisting into twisting footstep. A) Rear lead leg, lifts up knee forming single-standing footstep. B) Suspend leg steps forward, toes touching the ground then forming empty footstep. C) Lead moves forward forming bow footstep. D) Rear leg shift creating a horse footstep.

Combined Going-Out with Go-In (ping cheut tuhng jyun)

1.Horse Footstep to Bow Footstep and Horse Footstep to Empty Footstep: Standing in side-by-side footstep, hands or fists on the waist, one leg steps back forming horse footstep. A) The rear leg shift inward forming a bow footstep. B) Rear leg lift up knee, and moves forward forming single-standing footstep, then steps forward, and heel touching the ground then forming horse footstep. C) Rear leg shift back forming an empty footstep. D) Lead steps back forming inserting footstep, then shifting into horse footstep.
