here is a fight between a Show wrestler Bob Sapp and Minotauro Nogueira, who's a BJJ and Judo black belt and a good wrestler, a MT practitioner and a boxer ( goes every now and then to train with the best Cuban boxers); MInotauro weights about 240 pounds. He trains 8 hours a day.

Minotauro goes for a shoot, Sapp sprawls and then does a piledriver. Because he didn't want to kill the BJJ black belt, he executes the piledriver softly, for show purposes.

Sapp plays around, entertains the audience, but in the end allows himself to be armbarred so that the BJJ aficionados don't feel bad.

In a fight against guys like Bob Sapp, don't rely on BJJ or MT. You might try a kick to the balls, if that fails, run like hell!

... that was half in jest. But the moral of the story might be: the size and other physical attributes do matter a lot.

... a case in point: Bob Sapp against Choi Man Hong, even bigger guy, under modified MT rules (K-1, no elbows, restricted clinching).

There definitely more meat than skills in the ring, MA purists beaware!

more serious modified MT entertainment.

A tough Samoan American fighter, Mighty Mo, knocking out kick boxers, typically just going forward and punching when they try to kick:

But watch this for skills: MT stylist Kaoklai against Mighty Mo:
