some Black Belt Jones!!!

Black Belt Jones is so cool that you don't need continuity or a plot to enjoy it.

This scene has more great lines than all the works of Shakespear.

One of my favorite martial art flicks, I just watched it again about two weeks ago.

BATMAN MUTHAFUKA!!

But if you want action then go for KILL SQUAD!

Jim was part of the Black Kenpo guys, his teacher, Steve Sanders ( or was it Saunders?) was an excellent kenpo man, some of the fastest hands around at the time.

It wasn't kenpo, it was shorin ryu karate. His teacher was Parker Sheldon.

Here Jim is in another classic.

I know he started with Shorin, didn't he go over to Sanders kenpo later?
Sanders even makes an appearance in Enter the Dragon also.

Not sure man, all I know is that he was a shorin cat for a long time, but it would not suprise me if he met all sorts back in the kickin 70's.

Here is some news about him, for 58 he looks great. It says he is learning bjj and putting together his own system, combo american boxing, shorin-ryu and other stuff.

Plus he has a new movie coming out I think with Steven Segal.
