Don't know anything about that, but anything is possible.

While some have stated that the fight scene(s) were unrealistic, personally I enjoyed them, a tad excessive on the blood, but any "real" knife fight will be a bloody affair.
Should both of them be dead?
Pretty much, but movies are fantasy.

Also one of the must unrealistic knife scenes in movie history. Though as you said fun to watch.

I think that, the excessive cutting and bleeding and going at it like it was nothing, was very unrealistic, BUT, the moves and techniques were not bad at all.
I don't know why they felt the need to mutiliate each other and make it look like it was nothing but a "flesh wound".
