I've seen this form listed in the Yuen Chai Wan lineage of Wing Chun and also in Fujian Wing Chun. Does anyone know what exactly are the eight techniques mentioned?

Hi,

Bot Sik Dan Da and Lien Wan Kau Da are small sets comprised of linked San Sik. Similar in appearance to the Cheung Bo San Sik. Typicaly the two sets i listed have been passed down by Fung Siu Ching. Hence the material in the sets or the sets themselves show up in YKS Family WCK, Cheung Bo Family WCK, Yiu Choi Family WCK, Tang Family, Chan Family and Chu Chong Man Family. Each family has their own interpretation though. Some even have non WCK influences.

Bot Sik Dan Da is simply the 8 core Cycles paired with striking. What is considered "core cycles" may differ from branch to branch , especialy if there is non WCK influence in the mix.
