There was already some referring to Tommy Carruthers on different boards. I will offer some video clips (mpeg.-format) about him, where he shows different application (not to confuse with sparring).
I don't see the necessary to make a secret out of things, and to me , they are really worth to see.
Just contact me here, and I'm glad to share: AndreasMertsch72@aol.com
In the future you will find some information as well as other clips in a thread about him on the following board by a Wing Chun-friend of mine (under construction):

Infos on TC:

Jesse R. Glover, Bruce Lee's first student ans assistant instructor:

"Tommy is one of the best martial artist that I have ever seen. He is very quick very much like Bruce was when I first met him and he has very powerful kicks and punches. He has studied martial arts for more than twenty years.
Tommy has a background boxing (was a student of high ranked boxer in Scotland for many years), and has trained in Karate, Wing Chun, Non-Classical Gung Fu and Jeet Kune Do. Currently he is a JKD instructor under Ted Wong but we talk several times a year on the phone about different ways to train. In addition to his martial arts training Tommy worked several years as a bouncer in night clubs where he had many encounters that showed him what would work and what won't work. I have seen his students many times and they are quite good. I always measure the effectiveness of any teacher's art by the movements of his students. If the students are good then the teacher's method is good. Tommy is a lot like Bruce was, he is always experimenting with new things as he looks for new ways to make himself and his students better. When I first met Tommy and watched him punch I told him that he punched just like Bruce. Tommy isn't very big between, 135 and 140 lbs., but he has fast twitch muscle like Bruce had. He is very toned and has an amazing strength to weight ratio. He can do 100 pull ups while wearing a weighted belt and can max out most weight machines. Sometime he stresses his small frame very close to the limits but in the tradition of Bruce Lee, Tommy is well on the way to becoming a great martial artist"

"I have attend all of the JKD Nucleus events and I have seen the attendees reaction to Tommy when he punched, kicked or moved during the various sessions. In each of these four seminars people have approached Tommy after they watched him kick and said that he should be teaching the kicking class. The sound of the impact of his punches was so loud that people at every one of these events turned in his direction to see what was going on. Today Tommy is a blend of techniques from Howard Williams, the best Bruce Lee student to come out of Oakland, Ted Wong the private Los Angeles student of Bruce Lee and me Jesse Glover, Bruce Lee’s first student. My advice to those who are interested in seeing a real JKD man in action is that they should attend Tommy’s upcoming seminar. Don’t listen to the nay sayers of the past come and see for yourself. If you are at all interested in seeing a true JKD man move and teach attend Tommy’s seminar and see what one can become through hard work and dedication. In closing I would like to say that all of my students who have seen Tommy move hold him in the highest regard and most of them are very good movers"
