New to wc and the forum

hey all, I thought i'd jump in here and introduce myself. I look forward to the dialog with ppl who share my interests....my wife is certainly tired of hearing about it...lol.

anyway, I'm new to wck ... only 2 months of training so far but I enjoy it alot.
I train at Authentic Kung Fu in FT. Worth TX under Sifu Steve Cotrell. I've taken TKD and Kenpo in the past...but this is so much better in my mind...not to disrespect those styles.

I'm sure you'll all be tired of all my questions in the future...lol

Welcome. I've heard of Steve Cotrell, I think. Didnt he teach here in NYC (on Staten Island) a few years back?

At a place that was basically MMA oriented?

Or am I confusing him with somebody else?

I honestly don't know...but I doubt it. he has been teaching wing chun and praying mantis for a long time. but I could be wrong.

I don't know much about Steve Cotrell other than what has already been stated. Not sure about any teachings in New York, but he has been teaching in Texas for quite a while now, more that a few years.
