What is your favorite tournament to go to compete at? Do you do forms? Sparring? Weapons form? Creative forms?
My favorite tournament that I always liked to go to is The Bluegrass Nationals in Louisville Kentucky. It's always a well run tournament and for the most part always started on time. Ken Eubanks was a great man and promoter. He is missed by many people. The other tournament that I liked to compete at is AKA Grand Nationals in Chicago. I liked it because it was a huge tournament and was a well respected tournament. China Town was always a plus for going to this tournament. We would always go get Chinese food there afterwards. When I competed back in the late 80's and early 90's I competed in empty hand forms and sparring. I did pretty well when I competed and was ranked 6th in fighting back in 1988 or 89.
