Very cool clip. Thanks for posting. I find the expression on Wong Sifu's face at 3:14 to be very interesting. :)

As for the 2nd clip. It speaks for itself.

Peace,

Yeah, the second clip was a behind the scene shot at a rehersal for 'Enter the Dragon'....:D

I thought he looked familiar. Paul T on this forum could confirm.

I'm surprised they didn't have a freindly match... I know in the schools I went to it was a natural--then you can at least compare...

LOL Gotta love the narration...

Around when they're working on the tug-of-war stick & showing the dil sau, the narrator (ie the long haired guy in a later dub-over) spouts of with:
"yeeeeaaahhh, this stuff.... you're not really gonna have a chance to use it."

During WSL's form he says something to the effect of "his movements look a lot like karate..."; which had me crackin up... but followed later with "but it's also a little different too".

Those vids are great to see, nice to see the WSL vid. The Mantis one is Lee Kam Wing's school and its good to see him showing the training devices, they are harder than they look!

I've always had a great respect for WSL and his students, as he was familiar with my Sigung Lee Shing and showed understanding of the more cultural aspects of the art, especially skilled calligrapher too I've been told.

'One Method Wong' is a nickname I've heard, also due to his knowledge as a TCM practitioner and Doctor. The clip is great, but what show was that from? Looks like a Japanese version of 'The Way of The Warrior'!

One of his most well known calligraphies, were that in the VTAA logo.
