According to their website The Yongquan Martial Arts Association practices a form of long range 'external' boxing called Choy Lee Fut.

The vid does show Bak Hsing (obviously CLF) moves - fut cheung, low pau choy, sau, nice low basic snap kick. Notice the advancing attacks when she takes down the guy in the blue for the last time...this is truly hallmark bak hsing in action. Plus, the one apparent give-away this it is bak hsing CLF..in the end all the attackers were chewing dirt! :D

it was a sanda video from jon funks tiger balm.......

this one cat wearing a black gung fu uniform an a blue chest plate did pretty good. did a wushu style buttefly kick and came out of it punching and knocked the dude on his arse.

i thought he might have been buk sing.......naya's buk sing people.

um..no. He leads with his head. Not a level fist. :D

He out-weighed his opponent who turned out to be nothing more than a punching bag to focus on.

The other dude didn't know how to fight a larger/stronger opponent. Too bad. You hate to see a one sided fight like that when skill/style wasn't much an issue.

That guy was from a school that taught a mixture of differnet chinese styles in Calgary, his classmates were doing mixed animal forms and druken boxing in the soft style forms division that weekend.

I don't read chinese but that taiji school's lineage comes from Lung Tze chung (Lai Hung and Chan woo lueng's sifu), and they inhereted some bak hsing and some northern style along with their taiji (either sun or yang ?)

Like I said, I don't read chinese so I can speak to what the name of the school means?

Hey Frank,

it just looks like CLF to me... cant really see the Buck Sing influence at all.

peoples kung fu and their interpretation of it is differs... the way they perform it and use it looks different etc

at the end of the day its good 2 c a girl doing clf.
