When doing a pattern, it is important to show fire in your eyes, show that your spirit is alive.

How do you bring yours when doing your patterns/set forms?

I imagine that the move im doing are aainst real apponents, this makes me look more alive and brings up my fire, as apposed to a person just standing there doing a set form or pattern. This is what our instructor looks for when we grade, fire!

What do you do to bring yours up?? Interested to see how others do it.

based on what style and form your doing, give it your full passion as if you were actually doing the form in a fight. give 100% on each technique in the form. focus on grace and speed, fluidity, and power.

Problem when you imagine opponent or just do forms all the time, is that I think you get deluded, as you always win. I have only managed to spar like I was doing forms, only again a weaker opponent
