Why did the ref break them a little over a minute in? It looked like his opponent was rocked and about to be finished.

Just curious. I don't think he performed as badly as I hear some say. I'd even bet on him for a rematch - if the ref was competent. No ref, it would have ended there.

I agree, Rudy did well. What I especially liked was the way he landed a bunch of un answered shots, than tapped before he got any payback. Smart. :D:D:D:D:D

yeah, tapping to strikes after a couple punches and having no answer to a ground assult is great strategy.

-- I never said he was perfect - Knowing the kind of fight, he should have had a ground defense - but the BJJ guy was saved by the ref, it never would have gotten there if the fight was without the ref. Kinda funny considering how much these guys bellow.

FWIW - the '2007' clip with Asia is very, very wrong, but really, really funny. Guy's a natural comedian.

Strategy is how you make the best of what you got.
Training is how to get what you don't got.

I think Rudy needs to work on his cardio the most. That and just spar a lot.

Personally, I like to see fighters that win in the striking, especially if they have little to no ground skills and prefer to really train anti take down skills so they can keep the fight in thier element.

Wow, boxing. That sounds ker-snappy... how exactly do you wrap your opponent? Do you use a bow?

Oh boy. Dude, Rudy embarrassed himself. After 25 years of Kung-Fu he had haymakers and 1 minute of cardio.

Don't forget to add that it was against an out of shape guy who was honest enough to state that he does not have a lot of time in the game.

............. who was honest enough to state that he does not have a lot of time in the game.

Thats debatable. He wasn't in the clergy before MMA.

So a hooking punch is a haymaker, hmmmmmmm.

Its only the haters that keep this BS alive. Here's a thought, lets see you do better.

Next you'll say he was half blind and doing it for "Jerry's kids".

Again showing your ignorance of actual fighting. Stick to Monkey KF and eating too much, you are actually good at those things.

You've devoted an entire forum to making excuses about the fight! Talk about pathetic.

As for me, I'm still waiting on you to come down and fight me as you said you were months ago. And I've not seen 'Rashad' or his 'cuz' either. :D

Selective interpretation eh?

Well.... with the given wording, it was more likely an indicator for the "object of your desires", which could easily have been a dwarf/elf/hamster/"whatever".
Since I tend to be on the "conservative" side, I opted for what seemed to be the least offensive interpretation.
