We may not support the war, I don't, but we ALWAYS support our troops.
We want them home safe and sound and we are grateful for them being out there.
Watch your 6 guys.

with family and friends in the military, it's the one part of the anti-war movement I can't stand, I agree, the war sucks, but we still have to support our military, adn also, believe it or not, we still NEED a military

The military serves its purpose and though it may be "abused" at times by incompetent presidents, its a needed part of society, for now anyways.

"you may not be interested in war, but war may be interested in you"

I just made that up ;)

yeah, I completely don't support the decision to go to war in Iraq

BUT

The troops did not make that decision. They are willing to (and often do) sacrafice everything for our country and should be appreciated for that. I think everyone in the US has to at least know someone who was affected by the war. I have two friends over there right now, and a couple friends who are back (one went and came back 3 times). I hope our government takes care of the needs of these troops when they come back and I hope our society gives them the respect and gratitude they deserve!
