I'm going to start trying to learn some Mandarin, but are there sites that specifically have lessons geared towards Kung Fu or Martial Arts phrases and useful words?

My sifu and his disciple speak no english.

Thanks,

Ben

Just start making your own list.

begin with stances, fist, leg, etc.

If you canhave your teacher write the chinese character for the word then pick up a character book/dictionary to look it up.

there you will find the correct pinyin/mandarin spelling of the word.

This is how alot of us started.

Search for the pimsleur set. I am using it to learn cantonese and it works pretty well. it won't teach martial arts terms but general language skills won't hurt. Once you can communicate with your sifu he can teach the martial arts terms.
