Anybody have any suggestions on Choy Lay Fut books. I have been Training for a while, but I have not seen any books on the subject. Thanks.

''The Dynamic Art of Choy Lay Fut'' by Lee Koon Hung is good.
It's the only one I have on CLF. Other members might know of some other notable titles.

I don't have a copy so I can't vouch for anything about this book, but there is another CLF book here on amazon.com (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0897500350)

lol, roger, i have ALL 3 of the above referenced books. i'll bring them to class sometime and you can borrow them. i like lee koon hung's book the most, as it shows a nice variety of techniques and applications. leo fong's book is based on the san francisco hung sing (frank's lineage). it shows their cheong kuen. take care

Doc Fai Wong may not be the most popular guy, but that was a good book and one of the first most Americans were able to find on the subject

Lee Koon Hung's has a young tat Mau Wong in it if I remember correctly

Leo Fong's book I don't really care for

The Leo Fong Book is of my Lineage....or Professor Lau Bun's hung sing kwoon.

the form in the book is Cheung Kuen........but the book doesn't do the form any justice.

Doc Fai Wong's CLF book and even the 5 animals one are pretty cool books.

but i want folks to understand, Doc Fai Wong isn't representative of how Lau Bun Choy Lee Fut is done. Why? because he learned from an old man who didn't show him how to do it faster.

Leo Fong wasn't a long time Hung Sing student..........i've never met him.

I don't think we cared much about his book much either.

But there are some very rare books from Chiu Siu Kai.......the tiger claw form, snake form.......i don't remember if there were others.

I also have one old one that has the Chan Family 5 wheel fist form.

Oh, also there are the books from the Chan Kin Man lineage too.
