Have recently been introduced to liangong.
Met a Sifu that said it was quite popular in South Amereica.
Anyone else practice it , or have insights they would like to share?

The name sounds familier. Can you discribe the exercise a little?

18 Liangong Exercises is the one most widely known.

It was based upon the 20 Postures for Health and Longevity created by Wang Ziping.

Both are moving Qi Gong methods that involve repeating each posture one at a time over and over with breathing.

For example, you do Posture 1 - breathe in and out for X number of times....then move to posture 2 ...X number of breaths or minutes...posture 3....and so on until you have done all 18.

20 Posture is the same way. The postures can be done singly but if you do the entire set, they build upon each other.

Oh, ok. This sounds like what I know as:
Tai Chi Qi Gong in 18 forms. Yes?

I learned this exercise a long while ago. It's quite nice.
