There are actually quite a few places doing this now, some are dog brother "affiliates" or "members", other are just Kali/Escrima places that wanted more realisim in their training.
The full contact gear of the world escrima federation, or whatever it is called, is great to start with, but after awhile I think people just crave less gear...

Dog Brothers will always the the "original" ones in N.America though.
The pioneers if you will.
