They were cool. Thanks!

Couple of questions:
1) Why are your stances completely different to CTS's in the first one?
2) Are you disguised as David Ross, or the lady in the background looking for a clue in the second one marked 'CTS with Sifu Michael Parella'?

:D

the stances aren't different, Mike is going into them deeper while Sifu is sort of standing upright (by this point, the diabetis had already affected his legs and he seldom dropped into the lower stances)

as for 2, Mike is the lady :D No, not really, just thought that was funny

I don't do that anymore.

Oh, and I just realized that I mislabeled the clip. Sorry DR.

actually, I just spoke to "the lady" on the phone and sent her the link to that clip, just to remind her of her checkered past, LOL...

Sifu often taught in higher stances as showing the techniques but definitely expected low stances from the student. Whenever I got lazy with my stances I would hear "sit down"....one of the few things that Sifu would say in English.

Neat clips Michael.

Most of the teachers I've had have done that, tho more through laziness/'teacheriness' rather than medical reasons.

as for 2, Mike is the lady :DYeah, that's what I figured too!

Holy Crap! I laughed out loud on that one....good job. Your skills are formidable!

I think I actually saw a 'person' like that one night in NYC.

yah my first month in NY, I walked into a men's room. I saw someone that looked just like the pic. He was using the urinal (so I could not see his face). My first reaction was to apologize allot and quickly leave (just assumed I was in the wrong place). The guy turned around and told me I could stay if I wanted (and showed me a little too much). It was a great introduction to NYC! ;)
