I had the same problem before. I then thought KFM was merging with Hustler.

It turned out to be some malware stuff. fix it with adaware or somehting

Unfortunately, malware is now big, often organized crime-driven, business, and once infected, the only real choice is to backup your data and re-install.

I've had to do that twice this year already for my sister's XP machine, infected via PDF files (thanks Adobe!) she downloaded from research sites. I've had to re-install a machine after a friend got exposed to the animated cursor vulnerability (thanks MS!) Never mind kernals, mySQL injections, and the like.

Run a virtual machine, preferably Ubuntu, and confine your leisure surfing to Firefox on that. That or get a Mac.
