I currently have 2 film projects coming up. One is a cheap indie film about serial killer who dresses up in a bunny suit (I know, lame but it's paid work) on Halloween and goes on a killing spree. I play the Sheriff that caught him originally. Now it's Halloween again and he just busted out but I'm retired and have a drinking problem. I expect this to hit a film festival or 2 then they'll sell it on their website.

The other film I can't tell you about because I signed a NDA. The script has been expanded to add an A-List actor and it looks like Tom Savini will be doing the special effects. This one should be good but will go straight to DVD. I think distribution is already set. Should be in Blockbuster by next year.

So yes, it's not unusual to sign a NDA for some of the bigger films even if it's a low budget indie film.
