Then you should look into this
www.stopc51.com

Essentially Health Minister Tony Clements tabled Bill C51 to Canadian Parliament on April 8 (it is scheduled for another reading May 8). If passed it will recategorize ALL Health Supplements and ban at least 60% outright. The rest will only be available through prescription. There are also very severe penalties for the selling, purchasing, giving of any Health supplement including $5 Million fine, 2 year prison term, seizure of all business & or personal assets. If a Parent gives their own child a Health supplement (say Vitamin C) that is without prescription Child Welfare maybe called in & the child can be taken away.

You will not be able to go and purchase as simple as a bottle of One A Day Vitamins, or even a Protein Bar. All Herbal products will be banned, even preparing your own herbs is a punishable offense! Oddly they are not banning Tobacco or Alcohol.

Health Food Stores (Western, Chinese or otherwise) are done, closed out of business if this Bill C-51 goes through.

Oddly Tony Clements, again the one who tabled this Bill C-51, is a 25% share holder in Prudential Chemicals (a very Pharma / Drug company).

I have no love for any of this and ZERO for the pharmaceuticals, but people tend to bring this crap on themselves.
I recall a conversation I had with a friend of mine that works for the ministry of health and he mentioned the TONS of complaints they get about herbal products and such that make all these claims and have zero proof behind them.
It just gives the pharmaceuticals an excuse.

The pharmaceuticals work but they also destroy your insides.

As long as creatine, glutamine, protein, and Greens+ don't become illegal.

And yeah, they should go after cigarettes, not this stuff.

Time for a revolt...Canadian style!:p

My country has always had two official languages. As far as I know, we haven't changed although the French have had their troubles with being recognized nationally. That's not even considering the quagmire that is immigration and Aboriginal discussions.

When I said Canadian style:
I meant we would sit down, be civil, and discuss things and come to a compromise so that nobody's toes get stepped on.

What did you think I meant?
An armed uprising? Pfft, everybody knows it's really only the criminals in Canada who have the guns anyway.

Shows you need to go back to school to understand what a Conservative government is.

That is the action of a very liberal government. Which btw Canada is incase you are confused.

Sucks btw, working in the field of nutritional sales, this is not a good thing.

They're called the Conservative Party so I refer to them as Conservative.:rolleyes:

I guess that's like saying the Democrats in your country are liberal, when over here they are more conservative than the conservative party.

Maybe you need to go back to school and...oh whatever...
I really don't understand why you have to jump out and try to belittle someone like that.

No, your right, I could of been a little less ****ish.

You mentioned conservative government, not really a specific conservative party, so I wanted to make a call on that.

do some searches on aspartame, and leatrile. One is accepted by the fda-and has evidence that it is linked to symptoms of MS and Lupos, the other has been shown to have a benificial effect on cancer, and is banned. Go figure. Can anybody say,"Conspiracy theory?"

I don't know if it's conspiracy so much as it is greed and negligence on the parts of the fda, ama and big pharma in general.

in this case, it appears to be a case of greed with a possibly corrupted minister.
