How does one defend against attacks while aboard a shuttle or the international space station? Surely rootedness, stance, positional dominance, etc phase out. Any concussive strike would have to be ricochet force off a wall or other surface or while holding something.

Actually, chokes and holds are about all you have going for you, and they can't be based on your position on the ground.
