Has The Fury fought yet? It's this month, right?

If not, best of luck... when is it?

If so, what happened???

Guess it's this weekend, then... and Ali's busy with his protege in the run up to the fight.

I'm excited to know how he does as well.

I'm a huge boxing fan. Love to watch it!

Yeah, if he's good as everyone seems to think, should be a great debut!

ttt

Saw your post today, Ali. How was the boxing fight?

I'm just kicking back tonight and watching Elite XC and I thought about the boxing match.

Take care,
Kenton

I don't think we're gonna find out, man. And I love boxing. Currently reading about a guy called Sam Langford who was from Weymouth Falls, Nova Scotia. Was never given a title shot because guys were scared of him...lots of people also pulled the 'colour card' on him too.

Anywho...would love to see how he did. Looked crisp in the workout vids on youtube.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's father Wayde Bowles aka Rocky Johnson, was also an African Canadian wrestler born in Nova Scotia.

I was in Canada 3 to 4 days a week for a few years so I used to watch lots of Canadian TV. I learned a lot about the African Canadians in Nova Scotia.

That's great stuff, Phil.

Could talk a bit more about the history of it all...but unfortunately...it would probably turn into a racial thing on the internet. (Not between you and me of course!) It's quite amazing how the African Americans fled to Canada through underground railways and through working with the British Colonial army, etc.

Thanks for the links and vid. Now that's some ol' school boxing!
