I am advice to post the following public message on behalf of the Chiu Chuk Kai Tai Chi Praying Mantis clan.
We have recently discovered certain forms on youtube that claims to be of origin or relate to CCK TCPM including the Cha Chui form. However, Chap Chue (Cha Chui) is a well known Seven Stars Praying Mantis form. This form is certainly not a Tai Chi Praying Mantis form. It should be respected as the intellectual property of the founder of the Seven Stars line. It is not found in the curricula taught by Grandmaster Chiu Chuk Kai and is therefore not within the Chiu Chuk Kai Tai Chi Praying Mantis International Association's standard curriculum. Grand Master Chiu Chuk Kai had never taught this form throughout his teaching career. It is important to observe the intellectual property right of other Grandmasters, respect the teaching our late Grandmaster and remain truthful to the style.
We also found one clip of The cloudy palm (摩雲掌)performance that does not conform to details as taught by Grandmaster Chiu. The lack of understanding of the subtlety distinctive to the form is evident. It does however displayed signs of adoptation of the same form from our survey of CCK TCPM system that is recorded on DVD format. We strongly believe that proper supervision and tutelage of a competent teacher of the style can not be substituted by imitating performance available on video format.

We believe it is a prudent measure to monitor development of our style in order to preserve the integrity of Grandmaster Chiu's precious legacy. We do so out of the love and respect of the Grandmaster's memory. It is not our intention to defame anyone.
