lol :d lol
the pants didn't have a belt so I couldn't carry in a belt holster and I don't have a 'tuxedo' shoulder rig just a 'combat' rig so it would have looked all bulky and obvious.
and, yea, fried chicken jokes were going on all day
I almost posted a pic of me and the bridesmaid but remembered she was only 15 ;)

lol Pedobear.
lol, now my monitor has coffee on it
naw, I refraimed because she was not an adult nor did I have permission to post her pic. Her uncle, my brother's new father in law, is a retired Marine major who keeps a sharp hand and a half sword behind the front door. Needless to say he and I got along well.

Jeeze Oso, you and your bro have the same build as that tree behind ya's.
lol, yez...don't let us fall on you...he played football and wrestled in high school and spent a little bit of time learning from me
btw, i'd a hollared at you if I had thought I would have time to meet up...was there for the formal functions (rehearsal, rehearsal keg, pre-wedding-pre-disc-golf-at-Brian Park-keg, wedding, reception, post-reception at Phil's Continental and not to be forgotten...the day after the wedding breakfast {wtf is that about?}) and then split back to saner pastures

Would have been good to see you, but I was on vacation. Hope you all had a good time in this neck o' the woods.:)
yea, it was cool, er...fun, it was hot as hell...even with all the beer and food over the weekend i was a pound lighter when I got back.
btw, when we were playing disc golf at Bryan Park on Saturday I saw an older guy giving lessons in some sort of japanese sword/stick work. I watched him for a bit and honestly didn't get it as he seemed to switch from double grip on the end of the stick from which he was doing short chop/hit moves to his partners wrists, hands and arms to grabbing the opposite end and performing han bo type movements

I do know there's quite a bit of Aikido in the area, could be someone from one of the local schools. Was he moving in close when doing the han bo moves, any hooking or locking?

yea, a bit, only watched for about 10 mins...what I didn't get was he'd go from the two hands 'sword' grip to gripping what would have been the blade in the same technique...but what do i know?
wait for it....
