Preliminary report is 2 guys, with 2 grenades and knives killed 16 policemen on the border and wounded another 16, but were captured.

Given it probably was a surprise attack, you still wonder about the numbers.

I'm interested to know how many were killed by the grenades, and how many were killed by the knife.

Brings to mind some of our earlier discussions about knife v gun, distance and effictive use of the knife.

It also brings to mind the thought of 32 unprepared guards.

Keep in mind that most of the police in China are armed with clubs, not guns.
