kind of long to translate;

some highlites;

1. Ma xiao he. He was a moslem Chinese. He learned from Shi. At first, he was watching and secretly practiced. One day, Shi found out and exchanged hands with him. Ma was very good with talents. So Shi took Ma in as a disciple.

2. Ma was selling goods at cow street or niu jie. It was a street that moslem/arabs sold goods for over 400 years. Ma defeated a wu ju ren. or martial officer. Ma was using lead hand/ying shou to the top, and followed quickly with the other hand doing zhong quan to his abdomen.

3. There was the Shuai Jiao Ying (Camp) inside the palace. Moslem people love shuai jiao. There was a place that many people came and shuai in cow street. So Ma learned and incorporated Shuai Jiao with tong bei.

4. Some legends said white ape tong bei was from Er Mei.

5. Since people may not bring weapons into beijing, Ma developed fighting techniques with a box for a weight and a rod with a whip (gan zhi bian). Ma used the thin cover like a sword, and the box as a hammer. The rod with a whip was common among moslem people. They use it to herd sheeps and strike away wolves. Once Ma used the rod with a whip and defeated the leader of bandits. These 2 are unique "weapons" in the style.

6. The 4 th generation disciple Zhong Guo Ling. He met with CPC general Xu Yu. He punched the table. The table looked ok but tiles below the table legs were splitted. General Xu was impressed and sent an officer to learn from him.

7. The officer wore a belt with a hand gun. Zhong said came back tommorow but lose the gun.

The next day, the officer still brought the gun with him. So Zhong threw him out with a few moves.

The next day, the officer came again and carried a big bag of rice as a gift. He apologized and he was now willing to learn from him. The officer was from the central bodyguard batallion. They are responsible for securities of important government officials.

Zhong had to modify techniques to fit the job "requirements" of the central security batallion.
