no.

actually, it is highly unlikely you will find anything of value about this on the internet.

some information in books, mostly chinese books that I have seen.

This is something that comes via direct transmission pretty much exclusively.
There is historical and minimal information about it but as far as method is concerned I would be highly surprised to find it anywhere on the net.

perhaps it is time, we are in the new millenium afetr all.

that's what I was afraid of... I want to learn more about it, as it sems interesting. I did find one thing of use though. I found a few paragraphs that explained the parts of golden bell training: golden shield, golden spear, etc. each method toughens a diffrent part of the body. I also found something that I had never before heard about iron vest - It can kill you if it's overused. That makes sense though.

You know what's real interesting... Those who practice so called external styles of Kung fu don't have very lengthy life spans in many many cases (not all, but many).

The ones who practice so called soft styles have much more time on the planet :)

Good thing to keep in the back of the mind.
Everything has it's time in ones life. Balance of energy retention and expenditure is key.
don't overdo it.

try out www.shaolin.org (http://www.shaolin.org) you can even write to the guy asking him about it, and he will answer even if it takes 3 month sor so, but if you wade through all of his q&a he has quite a lot of stuff on it.

what do bin laden and general custer have in common????
They're both wondering where the fu(k all of those tomahawks are coming from. - donated by mojo

One day at the temple my grandmaster witnessed me doing arm pounding with a classmate. We didn't put enuf power into our smashes he thought. He was external southern style.

He came over and pushed the other guy away, I didn't even recognize him as I'd only seen him once before as he rode by on a bicycle, and said, "That isn't how you do it, this is how you do it."
He then smashed my forearms and combined it with 2 attacks that his style specialized in. And he did it over and over. I was surprised that the old man was hitting so hard and so fast and making his strikes work.

He was 92

Hey i'm 24, an external stylist, and from the ghetto. I deserve the freaking lifetime achievement award for hanging around this long.

I don't know anything about 'Golden Bell' per se, but I know a bit about some simple internal iron body practices.

The idea that they shorten the life span I believe stems from the idea that they 'use' weiqi, which is a certain form of qi which protects of from ailments. I'm not sure how much validity there is to this.
