Anyone have the youtube link of the chinese guy "supposedly" doing tiger form. Instead all he was doing was running around waving his arm and screaming, as well as rolling around aimlessly. There was also a lady Chinese commentator that can be heard on the video. I believe this was shot at a park also.

I've tried searching youtube and this forum since, if I recall, this is where I saw it first a few months back. But alas my search - fu is very weak.

Any help would be greatly appreciated and good chi will be projected towards you. :D

yes, it is called shen hu shu.

godly tiger.

They are sets of tiger like qin na technigues.

the waving and screaming are distractions meant to confuse.

it is not striking or kicking.

it is mainly to qin na the opponent usually the head area down to the ground.

even thou it may be started from arms contact.

but always go to the neck joint.

the opponent's head hit the ground.

Interesting. SPJ's examples were fantastic. The one xcakid was talking about looked more like the leapard I've been taught mixed in with atomic wedgy screamming.

As I understand it, Tiger will always end with the attacker in a submissive position and the defender above them, either standing neeling, or laying over them. Leapard seems to care less about the defender staying on top so long as the attack in nuetralized. Also Leapard seems to see the defender go strait to ground and pull thier attacker down. Tiger doesn't seem to be as big on a sacrificial move like that.

Well if that holy tiger form IS valid, it sure as hell not a competition form. :D

Nevertheless it will be entertainment amongst a few folks at my kwoon tonight.

I am pretty sure the purpose of "holy tiger style", also known as "hyena style", "retard style" and "psycho in the park style", was devised to incapacitate your opponent with laughter!

im pretty sure it was designed for multiple attackers this way too.
