Notice Boxing and Wrestling take up more time (12 hours) than traditional bare-handed studies (6.5 hrs).

LOL, Sun Yat Sen studies get more time than taijiquan;

women: 10.5 hrs. of "independent review"...;)

I have trouble any physical course beyond one hour.

wrestling or shuai jiao may need more time to work with partner but more than 2 hours?

independent review meaning self study/practice.

you may make up whatever you are behind in regular classes

and of course with the help of your fellow students and instructors etc.

This comes out of a research book, don't remember the name will have to ask someone.

I believe it is like the requirements at a police academy which requires a certain number of hours on specific skills.

Can't believe only 1 hour of taichi instruction a week but again the Guoshu was very combat oriented compared to the Chin Woo.
