The premise looks a little funny, but I'm wondering if anyone else here has seen Blue Jean Monster? It had a similar premise - the main character 'dies' and can only stay alive by electrically shocking himself every once in a while. BJM is a completely absurd movie, but absolutely hilarious in that Hong Kong psychotropic sort of way. I haven't seen it in years, but it was so over-the-top that I showed it to some friends so I did see it a few times. I can't but wonder if that's what influenced C2.
