I really like your post. I started reading Kung Fu Tai Chi magazine and enjoy it. Chung Le is one great fighter. I have a question, is San Shou the only fighting Kung Fu style fit for the cage ?

San Shou rules and sport-specific training are more readily transferable to sport fighting than "street" training with no protective equipment. Depending on the ruleset (MMA vs kickboxing, for example), San Shou might not be enough to get you prepared. Train for specifics of the competition format you want to participate in.
