this movie has several different titles, onechanbara, chanbara girl and the above title to name a few.

pick this one up on a whim, mainly because the cover had a tattoed, japanese girl dressed like a saloon girl stripper holding two swords on the cover. the film was a sibling rivalry story wraped in a post apocalyptic zombie filled world, where aya our hero her portly friend, and another vixen named reiko are choping and shooting up zombies looking for its creator dr.sugita and saki who happens to also be ayas sister. this one played out like a japanese anime complete with powerups and chi blast but it was enjoyable and well worth a look. pic it up.

On that note.... I just watched The Machine Girl. Insane.

Cute schoolgirl, gattling gun arm. Revenge on ninjas. Blood spraying, severings. Army of Darkness-esque chainsaw arm attachment. Drill bras.

yeah this movie is in the same vain as that, shot with a digital hd cam. crappy but funny vfx. loved it

You might also look into Stacy. It's a Japanese film about a worldwide epidemic that causes girls about 14 to 17 to become flesh-eating zombies. There are some scenes that spoof Bruce Campbell's chainsaw arm, a group of samurai schoolgirls that kill zombies, etc. It's a weird movie, but IMO it's a higher production than Machine Girl.
