Police continue to investigate teen shooting (http://www.greenvilleonline.com/article/20090203/NEWS01/902030338/1001/NEWS01)

Greenville County investigators Monday were trying to narrow down suspects in a home invasion that left a Berea High School teen shot in the stomach after the young martial arts enthusiast tried to kick the invader's gun away.

Investigators returned to talk with 14-year-old David Hoekstra to get a better description of two men who were involved in a home invasion Friday evening, Lt. Shea Smith said.

The teen's father -- Erik Hoekstra -- meanwhile said he thinks he knows at least one of the suspects.

Hoekstra was released from the hospital Sunday after a .357-caliber bullet tore through the side of his torso, missing vital organs. The brown belt in karate said he has three years of training and used his skills to try to get the gun.

At about 8 p.m. Friday, Hoekstra was home alone while his parents were out to dinner, and he heard a knock at the door.

When Hoekstra answered, a man pointed a gun at him and told him to "get back." Hoekstra said he then grabbed the man's gun and tried to kick him, then the gun went off.

The gunman and another man told Hoekstra to sit down, while one went into the house, he said.

A neighbor called the police, and the men ran off without taking anything, Hoekstra said.

LOL !
Ok so we have an issue here:

"Berea High School teen shot in the stomach after the young martial arts enthusiast tried to kick the invader's gun away."

And:

"When Hoekstra answered, a man pointed a gun at him and told him to "get back." Hoekstra said he then grabbed the man's gun and tried to kick him, then the gun went off."

Well, which one was it ??
