I don't know about letting everyone do heel hooks. They only ban kids from doing them, but really only advanced adults should be playing around with those.

I don't think neck cranks and spine locks should be allowed in the beginners or kids divisions, either.

The "no points" in the first round rule seems interesting.

yea, a local kung fu school is trying to have a tournament and include grappling under this ruleset because 'there seem to be fewer injuries'... i've asked them who will be reffing... if they have just pulled the ruleset from the net and are 'playing' with it then it's probobably going to be all effed up...no one in that group, to the best of my knowledge, has enough if any experience to be reffing a grappling match.

it's as I thought...the response to my question to these folks was 'can you help referee?'

i'm surely on their **** list now...
