actually, i think the server went poochy last night some time and got restored to a point following that crash. take a look at the dates on the threads and you'll see that there are none for the 16th(yesterday)

I think this because a post I had in another thread has disappeared as well but it was an innocuous posting of no import really, and yet it's gone.

so either the database server went boom, or the code has gone south.

Gene? Am I warm here? :)

I had responded to your inquiry.

I said that it depends on the students background. If they have never trained much striking before I start them on the slow progressive method.

If they have trained some striking than they can start on a metal shot bag quicker.

All internal exercises are included in all levels of training.

Our IT installs forum upgrades regularly, usually just little plug-ins and mostly anti-virus stuff since forums are rather susceptible to them, or at least so I'm told. Usually it goes smoothly and the only difference you might notice is...well, you usually don't notice anything. It's all in the admin. Something went wrong with the last one and we lost a day's worth of posts. Our apologies. Such is the nature of a web forum. It can all be gone in the blink of an eye.

I have to find all the links again. I had been randomly surfing, one link to another on and off all day yesterday. When i was getting ready to shut the computer down i noticed I had a collection of windows open, so I posted all the links.

A presentation of that scale, is not easy to duplicate. It's going to take some time.

I will work on it though, but I cannot guarantee the exact same presentation.

It was my fault you guys.

Ok, more correctly, it was Gabarah fault. Sometimes he gets on my nerves and I have to put the smack down. Well, when Gabarah gets ****y and starts shooting out those electrical charges, anything can happen. Just so happens we were a tad to close to the KFM server building when sh!t hit the fan.

Luckily Minilla was able to show up and finish the confrontation after Gabarah no touch KO'd my ass.

Thanks for the nachos when i woke up though Gene. Takes the sting off the electric charge residue.

We are still doing the site migration. We've been keeping the old site active for troubleshooting, but that was scheduled to be turned off very soon. Perhaps today's blip was part of that. It bled over to all the dynamic pages on our site, (http://ezine.kungfumagazine.com/) as well as the forum here.

Our IT is working on it now and promises to let me know what happened.
